Model: The cars have detailed construction and are full-scale in length. The minimum radius for operation is 360 mm / 14-3/16". All cars have factory-installed interior lighting with warm white LEDs and buffer capacitors. The interior lighting works using the factory-installed current-conducting close couplers in conjunction with the type ABC4ü, express train passenger car, 1st/2nd/3rd class, from item 42491, which is fitted with a pickup shoe for current pickup. The cars must be coupled in a defined sequence for this. All cars are equipped with current-conducting close coupler heads. Replacement normal close coupler heads and short corridor connections are included for the train end. There are imprinted train route signs and running numbers. A concertina fold shows an illustration of the complete train and the prototypical arrangement of the individual cars in the train consist. Total length over buffers approximately 77 cm / 30-1/4".
The express train passenger car set 2 goes with the class 01.10 express steam locomotive with new tooling and a new boiler design, which is available as item 39105. The set can also be extended with express train passenger cars from items 42491 and 42526 to create a prototypical D 74 express train.
A DC version of this express train passenger car set is available in the Trix H0 range as item 23623.
