Express, fast, and even freight trains, the class E 41 electric locomotives simply hauled everything in local traffic for over five decades.
Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class E 41 electric locomotive with five lamps, rounded ventilator grilles, vertical fins, and a continuous rain gutter. Chrome-oxide green paint scheme. The loco looks as it did in September 1962.

Model: The loco has a chassis made of metal and a body made of plastic. Bell armature motor.
All axles are powered. The headlights use warm-white/red LEDs and change ends with the direction of travel. Length over the buffers 71 mm / 2-3/4".
