Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class 491 “Glass Train” electric-powered observation rail car. With double lamps on the ends, horns and train radio antenna, as well as a double-arm and a single-arm pantograph. Silver aluminum/Olympia blue paint scheme. The rail car looks as it did around 1977.

Model: The model is based on completely new tooling, with a chassis and body made of metal. A bell armature motor powers one truck. The windows provide a clear view of the interior.
The interior details and the cab are modeled.
Headlights with 3x warm-white/2x red maintenance-free LEDs change ends with the direction of travel. The model has a high level of detail with fine and elaborate coloring and lettering. The minimum radius for operation is 195 mm / 7-43⁄64". Length over the buffers approximately 93.8 mm / 3-11/16".
