  • Product description

Model: This model is a special version of road number 18 314 that has been professionally weathered by Becasse. The chassis, locomotive body with its boiler and cab are made of die-cast zinc. Other separately applied parts are mostly made of metal.
This is an elaborate model with many separately applied elements and a highly detailed cab. The smokebox door can be opened. The model has many features, including cab doors that can be opened. The loco has an mfx digital decoder with 32 functions, a controlled high-performance motor, and a sound generator with running sounds synchronized with the wheels, as well as extensive sound functions. It can be operated with AC, DC, Märklin Digital, and DCC. The model has a built-in buffer capacitor. All driving axles are powered. The model has a built-in smoke generator with steam exhaust synchronized with the wheels, multi-stage cylinder steam, and a steam whistle. The model is equipped with running gear lights and triple headlights with prototypical colors for the era that change ends with the direction of travel. The headlights will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. The lighting uses maintenance-free warm-white LEDs.
The loco has red marker lights that can be controlled/switched off and cab lighting.
The loco has a digitally controllable special function: The locomotive engineer operates the controller (using a servo-controlled movement sequence that replicates how locomotive engineers operate the controller in real life). The model is equipped with sprung buffers, a screw coupler at the front, and a remote-controlled Telex coupler at the rear (can be replaced with a screw coupler). It also features three-stage valve gear switchover (forward, reverse, continuous operation) and comes with built-in engineer and fireman figures. The model includes an accessories set containing a screw coupler, steam oil, and gloves. The loco is mounted on a black-painted aluminum base for presentation in a display case. The minimum radius for operation is 1,020 mm / 40-1/8". Length over the buffers approximately 73.8 cm / 29". Weight approx. 9.2 kg / 20 lb 4 oz.
