  • Product description

Model: The locomotive has an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive light and sound functions. It also has controlled, high-efficiency propulsion with a flywheel mounted in the boiler. Four axles powered. Traction tires. The locomotive and tender are constructed mostly of metal. There is a factory-installed smoke unit with speed-dependent, dynamic smoke exhaust, and it can be controlled digitally. Triple headlights on the locomotive and dual lights on the tender change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The upper headlight can be controlled separately. Lighted locomotive number boards are built in on the upper headlight and will work. The cab lighting can be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free, warm white LEDs are used for the lighting. There is an adjustable close coupling with a guide mechanism between the locomotive and the tender. There is also a close coupler with a guide mechanism and an NEM pocket on the rear of the tender. The buffer beam on the locomotive and tender adheres to the NEM. Brake hoses, imitation prototype couplers, and an air tank for installation on the tender are included. The minimum radius for operation is R2 = 437.5 mm / 14-1/4". Various detail parts are included for the passenger cars. Total length over the buffers approximately 142.2 cm / 56".

The passenger cars are a cooperative project with the firm PIKO Toys, Inc., Sonneberg, Germany.
