2009 ANNUAL CLUB CARS

One of the benefits of Insider Club membership is the annual Club car. You can choose from Märklin H0 or Märklin Z. Club members are mailed a certificate in August which is taken to their dealer to pre-order their Club car. Members who joined by March 31, 2009 will qualify for the 2009 Club car.

48159 Insider Annual H0 Car for 2009

Prototype: Boxcar used on the German Federal Railroad (DB). Privately owned car painted and lettered for the firm Ford Works, Inc. in Cologne, Germany. The car looks as it did in the Seventies.
Model: H0 car kit as a reproduction of the former Märklin item no. 4937. This freight car was in the Märklin assortment from 1970 to 1977 as a car kit. Exact instructions included. Length over the buffers for the built-up car 13.5 cm / 5-5/16".

80319 Insider Annual Z Gauge Car for 2009

Prototype: 1 boxcar. Privately owned car painted and lettered for the firm Ford Works, Inc., used on the German Federal Railroad (DB).
Model: This car is a kit in honor of the former 4937 kit. All of the individual parts for the car come unassembled in the packaging. Complete instructions for building the kit are included. Length over the buffers 54 mm / 2-1/8".

The 80319 car is being produced in 2009 in a one-time series only for Insider members.

10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY MODELS

37082 H0 Model of the class 10 for 10-Year Insider Members

Prototype: Designed by Krauss-Maffei for the German Federal Railroad (DB) class 10.

Model: With digital decoder, controlled high-efficiency propulsion, lighted running gear and sound module. Three axles powered, two traction tires, metal tender. Close-coupled between locomotive and tender. Ready for installation of 72270 smoke generator. Headlights and retrofitted smoke generator will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. Lighted running gear, whistle and steam locomotive operating sound effects synchronized to the motion of the locomotive's wheels can be turned on and off digitally with the 6021 Control Unit. Length over buffers 12".

This special H0 model 37082 will be produced exclusively for Insider members with ten years or more of uninterrupted Club membership. The reservation form is mailed to qualifying Club members each year. Reservations must be placed with your North American authorized Märklin dealer.

46010 H0 10th Anniversary Track Cleaning Car for 10-Year Insider Members

This pair of permanently coupled KK 15 retractable roof cars come with a built-in track cleaning device that consists of a metal block that moves vertically with parallel polishing felt surfaces. Cleaning surfaces can be removed and washed. Length over buffers 6".

86002 Z Gauge 10th Anniversary "Birthday Car" for 10-Year Insider Members

This colorful refrigerator car comes in a special box with a "Happy Birthday" music chip inside. The song plays when the package is opened.
