Märklin Museum - World of Adventure
The next time you visit Germany be sure to include the Marklin Museum in your itinerary. The museum celebrated its 100th anniversary in the year 2000. Originally it began as a sample room for dealers to examine toys and trains and make their selections. Today it still has something of the original tradition of the sample room, because large parts of the current Marklin and Trix assortments are presented there. Of course numerous historic models from the company's 140 year old history are on display. Several operating layouts including MAXI, HO and Digital are on display and available to try out. At the Museum Shop, models that are available only in the museum in a one-time series are a big attraction. The annual Märklin Museum Cars are a favorite among collectors.
